The ESPR Nutrition, Metabolism and Gastroenterology Section

Welcome to the Nutrition, Metabolism and Gastroenterology Section of the European Society for Paediatric Research (ESPR)

We welcome all neonatologists, pediatricians, nurses and health professionals interested in the forefront of Pediatric medical care and innovation in the field of Nutrition, Metabolism and Gastroenterology. Our section actively participates in the annual conferences, our members are active researchers and participate in the European guidelines of parenteral and enteral nutrition. The section organizes pre-congress courses collaborating in the education of Neonatologists.

  • Our objectives

    The objective of the Nutrition, Metabolism and Gastroenterology section is helping in developing and applying research by:

    • Providing educational opportunities;
    • Developing clinical guidelines;
    • Collaborating in ESPR conferences;
    • Support and stimulate research in Nutrition, Metabolism and Gastroenterology. This purpose is achieved by discussing among members in research platforms.
  • Meet the Section Council and members
