The 'Neonatal Kidney' Special Interest Group

Welcome to thSpecial Interest Group on the Neonatal Kidney of the European Society for Paediatric Research (ESPR)

This SIG - under the umbrella of the clinical pharmacology section - focusses on the neonatal kidney, which is at present an underexplored territory within the ESPR community, while relevant for clinical pharmacology, hemodynamics, nutrition or epidemiology, amongst many other. The short-term focus will be to establish a collaboration with the European Paediatric Nephrology Society, which is also taking an initiative in this area.

We believe that merging expertise and strengths on both sides is the way to go to create a European Research Community and awareness on this topic.

We intend to have a start up meeting later this calendar year. Are you interested to join? Then please send an e-mail to allegaertkarel@hotmail.com
